Our friends of FENSTER are still on tour through the USA, featuring an extended tour diary on NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION. Since they shared their first impressions with us they already played Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Austin, Hot Springs and more. We saw a lot of stuff and it ain’t over yet. Have look on their fourth installment with some nice pictures from New Orleans, the SXSW Festival in Austin and, of course, the people they met there.
We arrived to New Orleans and were greeted by the magical Anna from the Vermont Joy Parade singing and making whiskey cider in her mobile piano bus…

The morning came all too soon…the wild city roosters crowed and then we had time for just a coffee in the sunshine before the hitting the road once again.

We arrived in Austin at our hosts Lindsey and Kelly’s place with a peaceful tree lined view from the balcony a bit away from the madness…we saw owls!
SXSW was a crazy trip this time around…we played 5 shows with a little trip to Dallas somewhere in between. We decided that corporations suck and bands need to stick together – our eyeballs started to gloss over from all the free junk food and advertising, but don’t worry – we fought back! OCCUPY SXSW
To find anything that isn’t Nacho Cheese flavored you gotta get out of the the clusterfuck and hang out on the outskirts – we found our friend Anna from New Orleans in her beautiful converted van! Fully equipped with a piano, cozy bed, kitchen and tasty hot whiskey cider…singing her heart out

Touring is basically loading in and loading out…repeat til infinity. Here we are about to play a weird corporate sponsored event in a conference room that we of course won’t get paid for because AT+T is pretty broke these days I heard…hey dude lets go check some shows at the Dorrito pavilion and the Vans arena later! far out! What are bands again? I forgot! Yeah, free cracker jacks!

We return to Hot Springs Arkansas for the amazing Valley of the Vapors (VOV) festival for our second time! Can’t wait to see old friends and cleanse the corporate demons form our souls! Here are some magical vapors just chilling on the side of the road like whatever
