The current Corona crisis causes an existential economical struggle for many people working in the field of live music and this also affects some of our most loved summer events. The charming Alinæ Lumr is an old favourite of ours and following the cancellation of their 2020 edition, they call for your help to make next year's festival happen. Needless to say, we support this cause on all levels.
We went to this year's Alinæ Lumr festival in Storkow and here is what we found. Small-town festival anecdotes from NBHAP editor Liv Toerkell and artitst who played the cozy venues. Charlotte Brandi, Nuria Graham, and Voodoo Beach gave us a little insight into what the festival was like from the artist's perspective.
From August 23 to 25, one of Germany's best kept festival secrets opens its doors for the fifth time. However, this is not just your usual get together of inspiring independent musicians but a passionate project that structurally helps in a region where politics partly already surrendered. And we think you should all know about this.
