Kit Sebastian is the creative union of singer Merve Erdem and guitarist Kit Martin. Together, the duo explore their cultural and musical roots and incorporate the rich past of Anatolian music into their psychedelic rock albums. Between past and present, their music as well as visuals are coined by cultural heritage and love for vintage feels.

The Australian singer Kat Frankie released her new record "Shiny Things" via Groenland earlier this year. Now, the artist started her extended Germany tour and we met up with the Berlin-based musician to find out what shaped her songwriting over the pandemic. Between political unrest, melancholy, and radical hope Kat talks us through her musical mindset following the ultimate question: what is the responsibility of art?

Berlin-born singer and songwriter Gwen Dolyn breathes new life into the ragged Neue Deutsche Welle scene. Together with the band Toyboys the artist is about to release her next single "GIRLSCOUT" an unapologetic testament to female desire, that is as cheeky and fun as it is deep and existential. Magic Island is the moniker of the producer and artist Emma Czerny. The Canadian made Berlin her hometown ten years ago but the confinement of the pandemic made her rediscover her neighborhood. Working off the theme of questioning what you think you already know, her new album "So Wrong" is a collection of songs influenced by her life in Neukölln. The Strokes are back with a couple of intimate European shows and a soon-released new album. NBHAP author Louisa attended their concert in Berlin and noticed some indie uprooting.

Berlin is an inspirational Mekka for many pursuing a creative line of work. Yet, regarding the local garage and punk scene the ground could be richer. Nevertheless, female power band, Gurr chose Berlin as their home base. The Duo gained international acclaim with their independently produced debut record In My Head and after extensive festival hopping and touring Laura Lee and Andreya Casablanca returned to Berlin.
