As you might know Justin Vernon’s Eaux Claires Music Festival is currently sending out limited edition cassettes to ticketholders which feature old demos and rare material from the acts of the line-up. We reported about a previously unreleased track of Vernon’s alter ego BON IVER yesterday. Now, someone has been kind enough to rip and digitally upload the tape which you can stream below in its entirety.
If you listen carefully around the 30:20 mark on side B you’ll find a previously unreleased collaboration between BON IVER and JAMES BLAKE, called Untitled 2. It’s a sequel to the artists’ previous collaboration under the moniker Fall Creek Boys Choir. It is currently also rumoured that both artists will join the event for a joint performance this summer, so there’s more than one reason to get excited about this. Eaux Claires will take place on August 12th and 13th at Foster Farms near Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
