For the ninth year of its life, this festival stays true to its name and promises a fine AUDIO INVASION. To make sure that we got understood: This a a festival only comparable to the old-fashioned, fancy booze that your dad’s keeping in his bar. No flower crowns, no naked people, not trashing around. Since AUDIO INVASION is located at a beautiful concert hall, there will be a fine blend of classic and contemporary music, all ‘dressed’ up by established video artists and light designer who – together with the artists and DJs – will create a unique audio-visual experience.
The opening concert by the orchestra of Leipzig, conducted by EDWARD GARDNER will warm the room for the fourteen acts that’ll come up. Among them: AUSTRA, OMAR SOULEYMAN, EMIKA and MARTIN KOHLSTEDT. The full line-up and running-order are detailed below.
