Beloved indie-folk band THE DECEMBERISTS has announced the release of its new album What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World for 2015. And they did it in a quite interesting way. Last Friday, frontman Colin Meloy performed on a corner in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg in front of the record’s artwork (see top of the article).
Besides performing the band’s 2005 classic The Engine Driver he also shared the world premiere of a new DECEMBERISTS song called Make Me Better. Details on when to expect the new album are still missing but you can witness Mr. Meloy as street musician right here.
