Danish rockers REPTILE YOUTH are back with another clip from their ambitious project to release a music video for every song from their self-titled 2012 debut album. Ten different directors, ten different ideas. We already got the A Flesh In The Forest and Heart Blood Beat in the past, now Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen and Esben Valløe visualized the uplifting Morning Sun.
Director John Londono on his idea for the new REPTILE YOUTH clip: “The song is upbeat and seems joyful, but I wanted to do something that was a little different from what you may expect for such a song. I did not necessarily mean to convey any political message or to give people any lessons through my video, but I felt like using settings and characters that were atypical. I think it also does justice to the song’s meaning according to the lead singer, which makes ‘Morning Sun’ seem all at once beautiful and sad.” And there is a lot to see – besides the kissing women – so have a closer look light here.
