Experimental rock institution ARCHIVE is about report back with an ambitious new project next spring. The band just announced a new album called AXIOM for May 2014. And it’s a cross-medial experience since it will also go hand in hand with the release of a 40-minute long film which was created by the help of Spanish film collective NYSU.
For ARCHIVE member Darius Keeler this step seems logical as he explains: “It’s something we’ve always harbored ambitions to do, pull together our music and the film-making process. Every time we make an album somebody says it sounds like the soundtrack to a movie that hasn’t been made, well this time we decided to make the movie.” The group already hinted bigger plans in their interview with NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION earlier this year.
