As this decade is approaching its end it is time for a little reflection on all the great music we experienced over the course of it. Of course, this is NOT an ultimate and universal Top 100 list. It simply can't be but these are the songs you should definitely give a spin before the decade is over. This year has been a challenge for all of us and we were lucky enough to have such tremendous records on our side to comfort us in difficult times. From gentle melancholia, to raging fury - the albums of 2020 had a lot of stories to tell and these are the ones our staff enjoyed the most. Dan Bejar and his songwriting alter ego DESTROYER unleash the first song from the upcoming EP Five Spanish Songs. As the title implies it consists of five tracks entirely performed in Spanish with El rito now being the first one to get published. The EP will feature music written by Spanish musician Antonio Luque of the band SR. CHINARRO of which Bejar is a longtime fan. After the quite soft 2011 record Kaputt it looks like DESTROYER are back to rock. The EP arrives on November the 29th via Merge Records, check out the new material right here.
