Although she is only nineteen, DUA LIPA has developed a style and voice well beyond her years. That may have to do with the fact that she left her family when she was just fifteen to return to her hometown of London to seriously pursue her singing career.
This track showcases her smoky voice that moves from sultry to playful and is rife with short vibratos and raspy outbreaks alongside a backdrop of a subtle electronic beat. She will release her debut album in the upcoming months. Aside from Be The One, DUA LIPA has also put out New Love as a preview to her final compilation.
