American postrock institution EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY announced the first new material since 2011’s longplayer Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. And it’s not a usual album but a movie score for Prince Avalanche, an upcoming little comedy movie by David Gordon Green. It’s a collaboration with musician David Wingo with whome the group already worked together on another Greene movie back in 2003.
EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY will release the 15 track strong score on August the 6h via Temporary Residence Ltd. NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is looking forward to new material – in the meantime enjoy a trailer for the movie right here.
