The Corona pandemic is a tough time for all of us but for artists and musicians especially. With the concert sector forced to shut down, new sources of income are crucial for them in order to survive. Buying a record can help here, even if it's just a digital purchase, but that's obviously more effective than streaming it on Spotify. Today, on May 1st Bandcamp has decided to waive its cut of sales again, giving all proceeds to the artists. The first time they did that they raised over $4 million so let's do this again. Although this decade isn't entirely over yet we still like to already take a look back on its musical highlight. And especially the independent music scene seems to fully freed itself from any limitations and boundaries during these ten years, resulting in quite some memorable musical moments we'd like to share with you.
For the 36h time one of Germany's most established music festival opened its gates to deliver exquisite musical picks within this quite unique family-friendly atmosphere. It was the first time for NBHAP editor Norman Fleischer who found it surprisingly tricky to fit in.
