Who is it?
Anglo-Danish trio OFF BLOOM (producers Alex, Mads and Mette), who we tipped around the time of the release of their excellent Love To Hate It EP last year. Now they’re back with a brand new single, with the Egyptian god Horus-referencing title (possibly) of Falcon Eye.
Why should you listen to it?
If you had to describe OFF BLOOM‘s music, you’d describe it as the exact midpoint between EDM and R’n’B, the explosive energy and digital muscle of the former mixed with the flexible rhythms and grooves of the latteCopenhagen trio drop pounding, fizzing new singler. It starts off with a shooting match of synths flashing up against each other, before powering up into a supercharged chorus. It’s a song with wallop, one that’ll shred any dance floor you drop it on.
