Today’s ‘Sound of The Day’ is all about movement – and it’s all about Australian dream folk duo HIGH HIGHS and their new single Movement. It’s the first teaser of the band’s sophomore album which is set for a release later this year. In early 2013 Jack Milas and Oli Chang released their beautiful debut album Open Season. A record NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION almost overlooked but we later included it in our favourite hidden treasures of the past year.
And the new single already continues where HIGH HIGHS left us. Easy floating music that now also comes with a certain amount of epicness. Let’s hope these guys not turn into stadium rock too soon.
