Last year NADINE SHAH performed at the O2 World Berlin. Well, she was the opening act for DEPECHE MODE‘s Delta Machine Tour but that’s quite a big deal as well.
Another thing that connects the English artist with the synthpop legends is the fact that her 2013 debut Love Your Dum and Mad was recorded and produced by Ben Hillier. He also produced several DEPECHE MODE albums, including Delta Machine and Sounds of the Universe. In March NADINE SHAH will present her work in Germany. The oppressive sound and her moaning voice on Love Your Dum and Mad brought SHAH comparisons with PJ HARVEY and NICK CAVE. But the singer steps out of the shadow of her musical soulmates by weaving elements of jazz into the rich sound carpet and letting her lush, sometimes seductive, voice roll over it.
