Californian noise rock duo NO AGE reports back with a new album this summer. An Object is the name of the band’s fourth longplayer and it will be released once again via Sub Pop on August 19. It will feature eleven new songs and according to the press release we can expect some fancy experiments on this one as it says: “This new LP finds drummer/vocalist Dean Spunt exploding from behind his kit, landing percussive blows with amplified contact mics, 4-string bass guitars, and prepared speakers, as well as traditional forms of lumber and metal. Meanwhile, guitarist Randy Randall corrals his previously lush, spastic, sprawling arrangements into taught, refined, rats’ nests.” We’ll keep you updated once we have new material from NO AGE. In the meantime enjoy a tune from 2010’s Every Artist Needs A Tragedy.
