After a certain amount of radio silence German indie rock institution SLUT finally announced their first origianl album in five years. Alienation is the name of the record that is about to be released via Cargo Records on August 16. It follows 2008’s StillNo1 and and the 2009 collaboration album Corpus Delicti with author Juli Zeh.
Twelve new songs can be found on the upcoming longplayer, all recorded in different locations all over Germany. SLUT worked with five producers on the record which might result in a very diversified record. A first track from it – Next Big Thing – is now available in combination with a video that captures the recording process. Watch it right here.
