Though the day already started a while ago here at the Berlin headquarters of NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION it’s still 4am somewhere on the planet right now. So today’s ‘Sound of the Day’ is for everybody who just woke up or isn’t sleeping yet. The song is of immense beauty and it’s called 4AM. The band is Bristol-based shoegaze outfit THE FAUNS and we highly recommend their latest album Lights. No surprise that the record was released on Invada, the label from PORTISHEAD‘s Geoff Barrow.
A tender and emotional piece of shoegaze rock waits to be discovered by the listener. Same goes for the sweet music video that finds model Kate Elson wandering around in an urban scenery in the early morning. Well, it’s 4am after all. Witness the beautiful new video by THE FAUNS right here.
