Back at this year’s Record Store Day Adam Granduciel and his band THE WAR ON DRUGS already gave us the epic 11-minute new track Thinking Of A Place, now he detailed more new music to follow this summer. A Deeper Understanding is the name of the new LP which arrives on August 25 and follows the critically acclaimed Lost In The Dream from 2014.
A second track from the new LP arrives in the form of the uplifting sun-drenched Holding On which is up for enjoyment below via a music video featuring actor Frankie Faison (The Wire). The third tune released from Granduciel’s new record is the epic Strangest Thing which might be the first proper stadium-fitting power ballad by THE WAR ON DRUGS. Enjoy the new music and don’t forget to take a closer look on the upcoming tour dates.
