Following this month’s joyful return the INTRODUCING series continues to bring fabulous new talent to Berlin in October, once again with the help of NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION. And just like at the previous event you don’t need to buy a ticket for the event as this remains a free ‘guestlist-only’ affair! Here’s what to expect:
AMA LOU
North-London-based artist Ama Lou is another fine example of this new wave of profound and talented R&B artists that manage to combine the traditional ‘classic’ vibes of the genre with a contemporary approach. Just like Jorja Smith and SZA this young lady matches lyrical depth with sensual grooves, making her music a very tempting affair.
YUNG FUME
Attention, Grime-loving kids, there’s a new boi in town! Yung Flume is one of London’s finest new talents from the constantly growing field that is the British rap unterground and he surely wants the world to know that. His 2017 EP Level Up was produced by Zaytoven from Atlanta who usually also takes care of the beats for such US heavyweights like Migos and Future.
FENG SUAVE
The psychedelic lo-fi pop of Dutch duo Feng Suave feels like a warm tropical breeze and that’s something we can really use in the cold and grey Berlin winter, don’t you agree? It’s soul with a ‘vaporized’ vibe and their debut EP really makes you want to forget time and space. So, that really sounds like a perfect scenario for that night, right?
