Men Seni Suyemin is the electronic project of artist and producer Minona Volandova. With a background in classical training on the guitar, Volandova quickly fell in love with electronic and rave music. Her debut record "Believe" unites the two influences. We spoke to the artist about her practice, honoring roots, and organizing the first rave in her hometown.
It seems like the term Neo-Classic is on everyones lips today. Altough many people have heard of this special genre, most of them only regard it as background music without bothering about what's really hidden behind. To show the world that this beautiful music is much more than only a background soundtrack, NBHAP editor Miriam Wallbaum decided to talk to two Neo-Classic pioneers about the scene: Germany's Martin Kohlstedt and Iceland's Ólafur Arnalds.
