Long gone are the days of "Call Me Maybe"! Over the past decade the Canadian artist emancipated herself from being 'just another girl in pop music' although her sound is still unapologetically pop. These days, Carly Rae Jepsen continues to walk her path in determined fashion and NBHAP author Louisa Zimmer took her recent Berlin show as a fitting opportunity to meet up with her.
After a hiatus of a few years, the Danish singer Karen Marie Ørsted aka MØ stepped back into the recording studio and on stage. On her freshly released third LP "Motodrome" she reflects on dramatic experiences and low points but finds the sweet spot between sadness and hope.
