That is as much of a news in this extraordinary year as it is reason for doubts, questions, anxiety and maybe also a little euphoria. The RBF 2020 is an experiment that is for sure. And it won't be comparable to anything we've come to love about this event over the years. So where are the gains in this?
The Cameroonian singer and musician Cindy Pooch released her debut EP "Issemou" earlier this year. Using her voice as the main instrument, it taps into polyphone tradition and seeks out a connection to the body. We spoke to the artist to find out what's behind her debut and future musical projects.
