Burning Eagle Festival 2013

Burning Eagle Festival 2013 – the place beyond the birches

Last Weekend we visited the Burning Eagle Festival in Reutlingen, Germany that presented some cool artists like MIKHAEL PASKALEV, EFTERKLANG and HONIG. The Festival, organised by the lovely people from the same named booking agency, took place for the 7th time this year. It is one of the smaller festivals and hosted about 700 visitors each evening. Hided between birches and an old scout’s cottage, it gave a really familiar and intimate setting, perfectly to listen to some great music and enjoying two beautiful mild summer nights.

Between a bunch of smaller names, the Burning Eagle Festival also surprised with a kind of secret gig of nothing else than GET WELL SOON on Friday night. Other highlights were anti folk allrounder JEFFREY LEWIS and experimental electronic artist DENIS JONES. Watch our impressions of this pretty little event.

Small venue, small crowd, but good vibes anyhow!

Before the night is over: DENIS JONES impressed us with his eclectic mix of folk and electronica. What a blast!
