MAJICAL CLOUDZ will be blowing some minds this Friday at the godfather-of-all-Berlin-clubs, Berghain. Email win@nbhap.com by for your chance at one of two free guest list spots (each ticket is you +1).  MAJICAL CLOUDZ is Montreal songwriter Devon Welsh and collaborator produce Matthew Otto, making a quiet, empty spaces electronica that has led to collaborations with GRIMES. What sets his music part from other minimalist electronica is the lyricism: for once electronica has meaningful words.  The album Impersonator was released in May of this year on Matador, following the 2012 debut album II and the Turns Turns Turns EP.  Speaking about Impersonator, Welsh says  “So the vision … was to communicate a lot with as little as possible. It’s not meant to energize and turn you out to the world, it’s meant to do the opposite; it’s more like a cocoon.”  So get your favorite buddy and wrap yourself up in less, this Friday, October 18th at Berghain Panorama Bar. Contest closes Thursday, October 17th at noon, don’t miss your chance.
