Time to give your Tuesaday a dark twist with this truly sweet piece of dreamy electropop that Berlin-based artist ALLIE created with the help of french composer and producer VICTOR TRICARD. The acclaimed musician usually is part of the band PARIS SUIT YOURSELF but also known for various film collaborations. That itself makes quite sense as his rework of ALLIE‘s track The One got an undeniable cinematic approach. He explains his choice in the following words:
‘I chose the song ‘The One’ because I love the sci-fi mystery which comes out of the sampled voice/synth that Allie used in it. It’s like if you’re flying in a spaceship in some solar system and it suddenly rains, you see what I mean? And the lyrics are very catchy, very melancholic, it really touched me the first time I heard it and I felt that it should be the one to be played with!’
