Coming from Nottingham, England, TIMOTHY J SIMPSON started playing the guitar when he was only 12 years old. Since then he played punk, funk and electronica. But finally he decided to play music with just his hands, his voice and the words in his head. His songs are mostly skewed kitchen sink tales about modern morality, the individual’s place in society and the crushing inhumanity of the workplace. Naturally TIMOTHY J SIMPSON‘s sound is tinged with cool accents of Blues and Americana but mostly prevails by its memorable arrangements and melodies, not to mention his particularly fierce skill on the guitar.
