British superstar rock band COLDPLAY reports back with an unexpected new single. Midnight is the name of the tune that premiered today and it’s also a surprise in terms of the band’s sound. The band returns with a more tender and less pop-focussed sound that somehow reminds us of BON IVER. Including auto tune overload. The last music we heard from Chris Martin and his boys was Atlas, the band’s contribution for the The Hunger Games soundtrack.
No words yet if this is the first material of the band’s highly anticipated sixth studio album. For the moment we just have to take the new COLDPLAY song for what it is – actually really nice. Experience the clip right here.
