These are clearly happy times for all fans of Canadian electronic producer Michael Silver and his project CFCF. He just released his new EP Music for Objects last month and is already preparing the release of his first full length longplayer in four years. Outside is the simple title of the new album which arrives on October the 30th via Paper Bag Records and Dummy Records.
The new album seems to be a place for experimentation and was written in trains and busses between Montreal and New York or Toronto. So we can expect a lot of motion with in this songs. And we wouldn’t be surprised if this would not be the last release of Silver during the next month as he told NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION recently that he has plenty of material left. “Thematically they cover a lot of similar territory, which is basically environment and separation from nature, but the approach is different in each case.” Be excited what’s next for CFCF and listen to Jump Out Of The Train, the first track from the new album, right here.
