Via a simple twitter post Canadian indie rock heavyweights ARCADE FIRE officially confirmed the release of their fourth album. The long rumoured – and yet still untitled – follow-up to 2010’s The Suburbs will be released on October the 29th as the group confirmed via the social media platform. And yes, they’ve posted this strange looking picture on the left as well.
Not much is known from the album, besides the fact that the band has been working with DFA-label chef and former head of LCD SOUNDSYSTEM – James Murphy – on the longplayer. These are clearly exciting times for all ARCADE FIRE fans. And we promise to keep you updated once we’ve got more information on this.
