Looks like American surf pop duo BEST COAST seems to be quite productive at the moment. Currently the band is working on its third full length longplayer, the follow up to 2012’s The Only Place. But prior to it the band will release a special 7-songs strong mini album called Fade Away on October the 22nd. It might be the EP with singer Bethany Cosentino announced back in February. One of the tracks, Fear Of My Identity, has already been released on Record Store Day.
Cosentino on the new mini-record: “Everything in this band has worked out so organically that sometimes it scares me that something bad is going to happen. I don’t even understand why this is happening. I made some songs, I put them up on the internet, and here I am now. I feel like the luckiest person in the world.
