At last year’s SPOT Festival everybody was talking about CANCER, the new duo of WHEN SAINTS GO MACHINE‘s lead singer and producer Nikolaj Manuel Vinsild and CHORUS GANT’s lead singer and guitarist Kristian Finne Kristensen. There was a hype going on and it was worth it. Now CANCER released their first single Same Color As Digital Photography. It is the first song off the duo’s upcoming mini-album Ragazzi which will be released via Tambourhinoceros Records.

Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild is known for his characteristic, beautiful and soulful vocals in WHEN SAINTS GO MACHINE‘s electronic music. Kristian Finne Kristensen is known for his warm and ever-present vocals and the analogue sound from guitars, bass and drums in CHORUS GRANT. With CANCER both artists now show another side of their talent. And so today’s Sound of the Day comes in the Same Color As Digital Photography.

Same Color As Digital Photography Lyrics:

I imagine
I imagine
This is how it feels when you’re nothing at all
And it shows
Terror take back what’s mine
Go ahead love
Go ahead love
You’re all I have to lose
Light
Settle where we left birds to dive
Settle where we left them
Slave
I imagine
I imagine
This is how it feels when you’re nothing at all
And you know
Terror take back what’s mine
Terror take what’s mine

When I left you were louder than me
Dead set
All that said all I’m saying
If you blame anyone for love it’s me
Stop right where you stand
Should have known when to fold them
Slave number one
Slave number one
Misery’s all there’s left where we left love

I know
I know
Men always yield at your will
It means nothing at all
Seen in my head or heard
Terror take what’s mine
Go ahead love
Go ahead love
Only the mortal lose
And the tide settles where we left birds to dive

Settle where we left those birds to dive
When I left you were louder than me
Dead set
All that said all I’m saying
If you blame anyone for love it’s me
Stop right where you stand
Should have known when to fold them
Slave number one
Slave number one
Stop
