He is clearly one of the finest new artists of the year so far. It’s fair to say that we from NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION just can’t get enough of Mr. CHET FAKER. And we’re probably not alone with this desire. The soulful songs of the Australian’s debut LP Built On Glass have been all over the place with 1998 being the latest single from the album.
And although the original is already quite grooving this rework by his fellow countryman ROLAND TINGS is even better dancefloor material. A pumping bassline, smooth beats and FAKER‘s voice on top of it. Sounds almost a bit more like 1988 than 1998.
