Who is it?

Meet Cambridge born songwriter/composer TOM ADAMS whose story is one of those almost fairytale-like ones. During his first visit to Berlin in the summer of 2014 the young man attended a concert by neo classic heavyweight NILS FRAHM who suddenly called an audience member up to play a song. Tom got up and the response was amazing, subsequently signing to FRAHM’s management company which ultimately lead to his record deal. Almost like an urban legend, right?

Why should you listen to it?

Come On, Dreamer is a heart-wrenching and highly emotional piece of elegant piano pop where ADAMS‘ falsetto and joyful piano play mark the heart and soul of the tune. You can’t ignore his classical roots but on the other hand it’s also a delicate songwriting we are witnessing right here. On top of it, the delicate Leo Plunkett-directed video sets the fitting visual environment for a song like this as it takes a man deep into the woods to closely connect with the power of nature.

What’s next?

A full-length debut album by TOM ADAMS is only one more month away. The fittingly titled Silence arrives on the 5th of May via Kowloon Records and all fans of these tender sounds should mark that date in their calender.
