Good news for every fan of New York post-punk trio INTERPOL. As the band now confirmed via Twitter they are about to record their fifth studio album later this year. This news might be a little relief since it wasn’t really sure if there gonna be another studioalbum again. The new record will be the first one the band produces without bassist Carlos Dengler who left the band shortly after the recording process of INTERPOL‘s self-titled 2010 album. Last year PAUL BANKS released his second solo album Banks. According to guitarist Daniel Kessler the new material seems very promising. Details on when to expect the new material are still to follow – probably not before 2014. In the meantime enjoy two pictures from the studio and a classic.
