After already presenting us two new tracks last week, JAMES BLAKE now bestows a fifteen minutes preview of his second album Overgrown on the eagerly awaiting. While the longplayer will be released on april 5th, the video to the first single Retrograde was already released in February. The recently previewed track Digital Lion shows BLAKE in collaboration with ambient visionary BRIAN ENO who recently gave his debut for Warp Records after he has worked with the master of sculpturing invasive sound matter BEN FROST for one year.
Next to it Overgrown also features contribution by Robert Diggs, better known to the world as Wu-Tang’s Afro Samurai RZA, in the 4th track Take A Fall For Me. And in addition to the ten tracks known by name up to this point the album includes an 11th song titled ‘Every Day I Ran’. So get a first impression of JAMES BLAKE‘s new record right here.
