Acclaimed songwriter WILLIAM FITZSIMMONS continues the teasing for his forthcoming new mini-album Pittsburgh. Last week he premiered I Had To Carry Her (Virginia’s Song) exclusively on NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION, today he shares Ghosts Of Penn Hills as the latest clip from his church-based acoustic sessions. The Chemical Brothers present ‘Go’ video, feat. Q-Tip
Legendary British dance music duo THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS presents its new music video for Go. The song features rapper Q-TIP on vocals who makes a return 10 years after their hit single Galvanize. The video itself was directed by the mighty Michel Gondry who set the clip in a stylish and slightly futuristic setting. The new album by THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS goes by the way Born In The Echoes and is set for a release ob July 17th via Astralwerks, furthermore featuring guest appearances by ST. VINCENT and BECK. Summer Camp premiere ‘Bad Love’ music video
British indie-pop duo SUMMER CAMP has shared the official music video for the title-track off their next album Bad Love. And it’s packed with a few movie references as the duo explains: ‘ ‘We had the idea to make something along the lines of an American teen horror flick like Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer, but where the real evil isn’t a faceless killer but the darkness in a human relationship.’ The follow-up to 2013’s self-titled record is set for a release on May the 25th. Ducktails announce new album ‘St. Catherine’
DUCKTAILS, the musical alter ego of REAL ESTATE guitarist Matt Mondanile reports back with a new full-length. St. Catherine is the name of the album that arrives on July 24 via Domino. According to Mondanile the project is less-focussed on being a solo adventure this time but will also feature contributions from JULIA HOLTER and James Ferraro. The latter is also featured on Headbanging In The Mirror, a first track off the new DUCKTAILS album. Stream it right here.
