The almighty GRIZZLY BEAR have started recording the follow-up album to 2012’s Shields. In a new interview with The Standard the band’s Ed Droste gave a little update on what to expect from it. ‘We’re feeling more adventurous with the sonic directions, changing it up a little bit — not like, a techno dance album … it’s in the beginning stages,’ he explains. He furthermore adds: ‘Only a couple songs have started to take shape and it’s gotta be like, a good dozen or so before we get the picture.’ So it might take a while before we can expect the new GRIZZLY BEAR record but be sure that we’re going to update you on the progress.

Beloved Australian shootingstar COURTNEY BARNETT has unveiled a new music video for her song Kim’s Caravan. It’s taken off her recently released debut LP Sometimes I Sit and Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit. According to NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION‘s track-by-track talk with her it’s a ‘kind of epic, apocalyptic end-of-the-world song.’ That might explain the grey and slightly apocalyptic images in her new music video.
