This christmas is going to be quite a special one… A Very Murray Christmas. The almighty Bill Murray teams up with his former Lost In Translation director Sofia Coppola again for a celebrity-packed Netflix special by the same name. The feature film will air on December the 4th, featuring plenty of celebrities from George Clooney to Amy Poehler, from Miley Cyrus to Michael Cera. French band PHOENIX will also join Murray’s party since lead singer Thomas Mars is also married to Coppola.
As Exclaim! points out (via Modern Vinyl) there will be a special single in the course of the movie’s release. PHOENIX team up with Murray for the BEACH BOYS cover Alone On Christmas which will be released as a special 7-inch vinyl single, backed by an instrumental version of the track.
