British postpunk newcomers SAVAGES tease us all for their upcoming debut album Silence Yourself with a new music video for Shut Up. The record will be released May 7 in the U.S. and May 6 in the UK via Matador Records. The music of SAVAGES is quite dark and intense just like the being of the band.
A group that seems to be very focussed on what they want to say and how they want to express themselves as they state: “SAVAGES is not trying to give you something you didn’t have already, it is calling within yourself something you buried ages ago, it is an attempt to reveal and reconnect your physical and emotional self and give you the urge to experience your life differently, your girlfriends, your husbands, your jobs, your erotic life and the place music occupies in your life.” So, feel invited to discover this new perspective with the bands most recent clip.
