METRONOMY had Belgian electro rockers SOULWAX remix their single Love Letters. Recently the British indie pop band also brought out a video for the title track of their fourth record, directed by none other than Michel Gondry.
As band member Joseph Mount explained in an interview with NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION, the just released new album is ‘way more different’ and experimental than its predecessor The English Riviera (2011), which marked the breakthrough for METRONOMY.
Love Letters is out today. NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION really enjoy the band’s fresh approach, combined with a vintage sound, calling 60s bands like the THE BEACH BOYS to mind. Read our full album review here. But before that enjoy the crisp SOULWAX version of Love Letters below.
