American singer/songwriter SUFJAN STEVENS has shared No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross, the first single off his forthcoming longplayer Carrie & Lowell. The record which marks his first proper solo album in five years will be released on March 30 in Europe and March 31 in North America via Asthmatic Kitty.
The record is said to mark STEVENS‘ return to a more folk-focussed sound and judging from the first single the assumption isn’t the worst. See for yourself right here.
