British wave pop darlings THE XX report back with brand new material in the form of Together. The song is not from the group’s criticly acclaimed 2012 sophomore album Coexist, but was written for Baz Luhrmann’s forthcoming motion picture The Great Gatsby. Quite an epic movie with a spectacular soundtrack that also includes exclusive new content by LANA DEL REY or FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE. But of course, THE XX didn’t wrote an epic anthem (apart from the huge string outro) – they did what they do best, a wonderful intimate track which you can enjoy right here.
