Hailing from various parts of Norway, the now Britain-based trio I See Rivers delivers that sort of folk pop that is just meant to soothe your soul and bring you a good time. Give Up is a song about letting go and it’s infectious groove will definitely lift your spirit today as Eline Brun, Gøril Nilsen and Lill Scheie present a great example of why they called their music ‘float folk’ … and of course it made sense for them to actually shoot the accompanying music video at the sea. The clip was filmed only weeks after the trio moved to beautiful Pembrokeshire last winter. Here’s what they say.

‘We fell head over heels for this part of the world a couple of years ago and we feel so happy to call it our home. The nature and the land itself here played a big part in our wish to live here and we are so excited to have recorded a little piece of it in this video.’

If you happen to be a lover of First Aid Kit, Feist and Lykke Li‘s more folk-inspired output you should definitely welcome this song to your life. I See Rivers released their debut EP Standing Barefoot last year and Give Up is the first teaser of a potential follow-up. Watch the exclusive video premiere now right here.
