Shortly after the release of ‘Now I’m In It’ in late October, a song about going through depression and spiralling minds, NBHAP editor Anna Stich talked to HAIM about the tough times, the past times, the good times and the future times. The three Californian sisters have been working hard in the studio and since then blessed the world with another single called ‘Hallelujah’, a counterpart to ‘Now I’m In It’ appreciating the love and support we need while stuck in a dark place.
The music Vaarin makes is marked by an inherent melancholia. Between beauty and pain, the Norway-based artist creates soundscapes that elate while tugging on the heartstrings.
