Five years after first showing up on our radar, the promising Norwegian duo, made up of Ida Knoph-Solholm and Alexander Breidvik, has finally released their debut. “The Sun Will Do You Good, They Said” delivers an impressive range of ideas and sounds that made it worth the wait.
Following their triumphant first impact with their 2019 debut "Schlagenheim" British 'hard-to-define'- guitar rockers Black Midi are about to return with an even wilder follow-up these days. This band continues to fascinate the listener with their artistic determination and their impressive musical qualities. Created in during the lockdown and without guitarist Matt Kwasniewski-Kevin who took a break from the band "Cavalcade" is a triumphant return. NBHAP author Tamsin Paternoster phoned up the band to talk about the record.
