Sushi, Climate Change And Dystopia: HÆLOS’ Second Album Is Pop For The Here And Now

In the 21st century we don’t just live in the age of fast food, fast fashion but also in the age of fast music. The songs on the radio blend into one, way too easily digestible, blob of auto tunes and synthesizers. But some still do it right. We met the British electronica four piece HÆLOS, who aren’t just wizards of the 'buttons and wires' but also classically trained musicians with a passion to make music meaningful again.

The Sometimes and The In-Betweens: Rasha Nahas on Amrat امرات

Based in Berlin, the Haifa-raised singer and songwriter Rasha Nahas releases her first album in her native tongue, Arabic. Written during the pandemic, "Amrat امرات" is an exploration and celebration of her Palestinian identity and a touching album grown out of spaces in between cities, identities, and cultures. We spoke to the singer and are premiering the video to "Habbetek حبيتك" in this week's Introducing Feature.
