About 16 years ago British psychedelic rockers The Coral became the UK's hottest new indie band for a while. In the wake of their already ninth studio album NBHAP editor Louisa confronted the guys with a new generation of bands and it turns out they aren't the biggest fans of their successors.
Holed up in their HQ in Kassel, the now fully-evolved four-piece have made their boldest record yet, one that steers their sound into new territory, a mix of stomping, strutting rock music and bubbling, eerie electronica. NBHAP takes a closer look on the promising German newcomers.
