Natas stands for Satan backwards. Well, just in case you haven’t noticed that yet. NATAS LOVES YOU from Luxembourg are a great upcoming indie pop act that makes pretty much everyone at their live shows dance (or at least move their legs to the beat). Currently the band members are living in Paris and already got quite some attention at 2014’s Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg, Germany) and MaMa Event (Paris, France). Now the band is ready to rock this year’s Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival in Groningen, Netherlands. Quite possible that this will be one of the most important shows in the band’s history so far. Just to set the stake a bit high right here.

On the lookout for anything exciting

In early 2010, a bunch of school friends who had grown up to the sound of hip-hop and psychedelic rock was about to breach in the exclusive world of pop. They came from French, Spanish, Finish and American backgrounds, and shared English as their common language. When they were not together in school in Luxembourg, where their families had settled for a while, they played in local bands. Soon they would start their own band: NATAS LOVES YOU. Their models were as eclectic, cosmopolitan and open-minded as they were, ranging from CURTIS MAYFIELD and METRONOMY to THE ZOMBIES, and A TRIBE CALLED QUEST. They believed in keeping on the lookout for anything exciting, which could be found in infectious sixties grooves just as much as in experimental electronica.

NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is looking forward to dance with NATAS LOVES YOU at Eurosonic Noorderslag next week. One of our hot tips for the festival!

Eurosonic Noorderslag is the key exchange and networking platform for European music, with a proven track record for helping new acts to establish themselves in other countries. The event will take place from January 14 to 17.

NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION will report once again from the event. You can read all future coverage right here.
