Summer is in full swing, everybody and following months of lockdown life we all deserve a few weeks of relief and social regeneration before that filthy Delta variant might force us all to go back inside (or not – get your vaccine shot, folks!). So, this is the time of low-key euphoria and a moment to rejoice and of course you can count on NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION to provide the proper musical soundtrack for that. Wait a second? Didn’t we recently already talk about another summer playlist? Yes, you’re right – we actually got two for your needs. While the beloved Sunny Indie Vibes playlist focusses on dreamy indie rock melancholia, the Smooth Summer Days one is more freed from any sort of genre restriction.

These 80 laidback tunes compile a variety of different genres and tracks from past and present in order to create a playlist that’s purely driven by a certain vibe and lounge atmosphere. From smooth yacht pop of the past and present to chillout electronia, downbeat, trippy dream pop, obscure remixes, R&B, soul and jazz – there’s a lot going on in here. We got artists like Poolside, SZA, Tash Sultana, Toro Y Moi, Tycho and Bonobo right next to The Flaming Lips, CHAI and Jorja Smith.
